Questions

Good to know.

Can my employer pay?

Most employers have a training budget, and a lot of it goes unspent because nobody asks.

  1. Know where the money is. Ask about the training or learning and development budget.
  2. Make the business case, not the personal one. Say you want to do your job better, with clearer requirements and less rework.
  3. Send the email. Copy the message below, change the words in brackets and send it to your manager.

What if I need to cancel?

Within 14 days of paying the deposit: you can cancel for any reason and get the full £250 back.

After 14 days: we keep the £250 deposit, as your place is held for you. If we fill your place from the waiting list, we refund it. Or you can move your deposit to the next date instead.

If you've paid the balance: we refund the £2,250 balance. The deposit is kept, unless we fill your place.

If the course doesn't run: you get everything you've paid back in full, or you can move it to the next date.

To cancel, tell us here. Refunds go back to the card or account you paid from within 14 days. The same rules apply if your employer pays.

Who is it for?

Apprentices on a Level 4 BA apprenticeship, or about to start one, who want to feel confident with the techniques before using them at work.

Junior and aspiring BAs who want the core toolkit done properly: requirements, process modelling and stakeholder work.

Career changers moving into business analysis who want a practical, supported way in.

How is it taught?

Small group sessions with Jo, realistic simulations on BA Hub between sessions, and a portfolio of real pieces of BA work. For apprentices it's practice: your End Point Assessment portfolio has to come from your real work.

Are there other courses?

6 week Simulation Programme, £5,950. Three simulated projects across three BA disciplines, the full toolkit, an interview ready portfolio and a final panel presentation.

2 week Course, £2,500. The course on this page. If you've recently been made redundant, get in touch, as there may be funding towards the fee.

3 month Programme, price on enquiry. For apprentices and junior BAs. Online, around the day job, with portfolio building and End Point Assessment prep. Level 4 (ST0117).
